In 1992,
KASP initiated a project for implementation of uniform and integrated
computerised business systems across the Boodai Group. An integrated information
network has been setup on an IBM AS/400 with the JD Edwards package as the core
software. KASP now supports this highly successful installation through internal
technical skills, and a Management Information System has been developed by it
using the JDE database. The success achieved in productivity improvements,
standardisation, systems development, integration and implementation in this
project has given KASP the confidence to undertake such projects for other
clients. KASP is further enhancing its skills and endeavours to become a Center
of Excellence in Client-Server & Object Oriented Application Design and
Development to provide state-of-the-art solutions in a fast changing
environment. A Maintenance Workshop package using the latest Developer 2000 tool
on Oracle 7.1 has been developed. A Payroll and Personnel package for Gulf
requirements has been developed on IBM AS/400 and is used by 11 companies of the
Boodai Group. KASP is a Business Alliance Partner of Oracle and distributor for
'Business Objects', world's leading end-user information retrieval software for
databases and data warehouses in Kuwait.
